The view is stunning & the sunset's spectacular. Along the beach is several fire pit site's, but you have to arrive early to get one of those. The beach itself is rocky with sand patches. Lower the tide the more sand available. On the lagoon side there is extra parking, picnic tables & bathrooms(camouflaged in a driftwood structure). Also a good site to launch a kayak or paddle board, very shallow water even at high tide. Goose Spit is a popular beach for both locals & tourists alike.

Lovely place to walk up and down the ocean even when it's a cloudy day during the off season. All the logs and timbers give the walk a rustic feeling.

The best beach for finding shells, various types of starfish & crabs in tidal pools. I have never been there when the dolphins or whale's have been sighted, I understand it does happen - just not to me.

Goose spit is a good place to go for a short walk while in the Comox area. Along the beach if you keep a close eye on the ground you might spot clear little jellyfish that are left behind when the tide goes out. It is also popular with dogs and their owners, in saying that watch out for the lazy owner who neglects to pick up after the dog does it's business.

Beach is a mix of rocky and sandy areas. Beautiful scenic views of Georgia Strait and local mountains. Best time to visit is at low tide. Popular park for personal fitness.
